I found new sandwich cuttersin the baby department of a big chain store. I couldn't just walk away from them so now I own new elephant and penguin cutters.  They work great.  They are sturdy and really use the whole piece of bread.  Just the crust is left which my dogs happen to really enjoy.

It is summer so I don't make as many bento style lunches.  Today my three babes had a friend over so I needed four lunches.  I thought it would be fun to show the same lunch packed bento style (my favorite EasyLunchboxes) and on regular old plates.

This lunch contains elephant sandwiches.  Elephants are my oldest's favorite animal.  Fresh garden peas and baby carrots are the veggies in this lunch.  The watermelon and grapes have cute animal picks.  Picks always make it fun.

While I was writing this post my youngest was watching Barney and this song came on.  How perfect!

This is what I used to make this lunch.  I added a link to the book Ellison the Elephant because it is one of my all time favorites.  It has a great message and the voices on the CD are so stinkin adorable.

  1. So cute! My kiddies would eat everything up! :)

  2. Thanks for popping over to say Hi at my site. What an adorable site you have! Lots of blessings, Kelly
