Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Lunch

I pack lunches by night, but by day I am a kindergarten teacher.  One of my all time favorite books is Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. I can recite the whole thing by heart.  (I have many useless hidden talents.  For example, I can also fit my entire fist in my mouth).  ~ Let's get back to talking about lunch!

The coconut tree is made out of a sandwich trunk, almonds for coconuts, and spinach leaves.  Helpful hint: Use a pizza cutter to cut quick straight lines.  It works better than a knife.  This trick also works great for cutting up pancakes and waffles into bite size pieces.

I cut the letters A, B, and C out of cheese.  Carrots and broccoli are in the flower cup.  Apple chunks are hanging out with a monkey pick.  I am aware that there are indeed no monkeys in Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, but I happen to like monkeys, and I'm the lunch boss so they made it in the lunch anyway :) Chobani Champions Chocolate Chunk Greek yogurt finishes off this lunch.

By the way, I know you totally tried to fit your fist in your mouth, and now you know just how awesome I am :)

    1. Lucky for Julie my girls ride with me to school. My lunches are safe from the bus. I am sure the almond coconuts were sloshed around :) I use lunch bags that keep my boxes flat. EasyLunchboxes have their own bags. I have found others that fit too! Look for cube shaped bags! I checked out your blog too! Keep up the good work!

  4. Great lunch, my son would love it.

If you don't mind my asking, do you manually link the items you used at the bottom, or is there a widget that helps with that.
