I was having fun with cutters while packing today's bento lunch. To make the outer space adventure I cut out a circle turkey sandwich using a round cookie cutter. Then I punched out a rocket, moon, and stars out of cheese. My daughter can eat the sandwich in pieces (she usually does) or she can place the cheese and spinach inside and build her own sandwich.
Cucumber slices are alternating peeled and unpeeled. We have a surplus of garden cucumbers around this place. Grapes are arranged like a flower. This lunch shows that making it cute really doesn't have to take much time at all. Have fun on your lunch packing adventures this school year :)
